I’m putting together a series of mini-features for the Horror Reanimated blog (http://www.horrorreanimated.com) and was hoping you’d be able to take a few minutes to answer the following question:
The book I would like to be buried with is…
I’m not expecting a long essay, (although if you do find yourself enthusing about your choice at length that would be most welcome), but rather a couple of paragraphs on why you’ve chosen that particular book.
Although I’m mainly inviting genre authors to participate, do not feel you must choose a book within the genre you write in as I’m hoping for a wide-ranging and eclectic selection of titles. And, if there is more than one book you want to comment upon, please feel free to do so too!
Also, if there is a particular edition/format that you would like me to feature please let me know as I’ll be accompanying each choice with a book jacket.
If there is a particular paragraph or sentence that stands out for you, then please include it if you have the time.
Finally, if you have a picture of yourself and a biography paragraph that you’d like me to use then please feel free to send that through too!
Thanks for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
    With best wishes
    Mathew

Stephen, Thanks for the great panel at AWP. I couldn’t get through the crowd to talk with you, but I have a Request for Submissions that you might be able to help in getting to writers (for Latino/a writers of crime fiction). I can’t attach the Request here, but if you can email me, I’ll be glad to send it to you. Also, a book I edited for Akashic Books in Brooklyn is just out and you might enjoy it — “Indian Country Noir.” Best,Sarah Cortez

I just finished Demon Theory for the second time and I think it is a masterpiece. You completely captured the feel of Scream in the first part, Alien(s) in the second, and took it to a whole new level of horror in the third. I loved every second, including all the gems of information in the footnotes. I would like to ask you a few questions about the story. Would you mind answering them?
    Regardless, I’m a huge fan.
    Brittany
